Ink - Typographic Experiment
Typographic experimentations that use ink and digital techniques to distort and reconstruct an existing typeface.
The first stage involved constructing an alphabet using ink and considering the inks properties: dripping, absorption, and dispersion on paper.
The next stage focused on the deconstruction of the original alphabet into shapes, and coloring each shape with a different hue. These shapes were then drawn with ink and used to digitally reassemble the letters. At this stage, three new alphabet systems were created: one vector-based and colorful, the second composed of shapes drawn in ink, and the third combining both elements. In the final stage, some of the alphabet systems underwent digitization, incorporating vectorization and three-dimensional effects.
The ultimate result is eleven alphabet systems that traverse the space between the physical-expressive and the digital-computational.
